Sunday, 10:45 – 11:30 a.m, April 6 – May 11 Leader & Contact Info: Dr. Margarita Suarez Location: Adult Education Room Description: The United States has one of the most vibrant religious landscapes in the world. This class will survey this remarkable religious scene. We will examine Protestantism with its liberal/fundamentalist divide. The class will also look at Judaism, Islam, and Asian religions in America. You are invited to learn more about our rich religious diversity.
Sunday, 10:45 – 11:30 a.m, April 6 - 27 Leaders & Contact Info: Claire Dodd and Betsy Jernigan Location: Convocation Room Description: This class will look at the early church's life through the lens of the book of Acts. Topics will include the scope of Christianity represented in this New Testament work. We will also consider some of the customs that we still follow today. Life in the Early Church is designed to be a small group discussion. Sunday, 10:45 – 11:30 a.m., May 18 Leader & Contact Info: Andrew Carroll Location: Parish Hall Description: How do men and women at war think about God and faith? Andrew Carroll collected 50 letters from the front throughout American history for his book Grace Under Fire. During this special class for the upcoming Memorial Day observance, he will read some of the letters and talk about the faith of those in harm's way.
