Whatever your stage of life, we welcome you to St. Michael’s and strive to serve you through our adult formation. We seek to form community and deepen our faith and knowledge together. Our adult ministry consists of events and classes focused on the specific challenges and joys experienced by adults of all ages!
From our adult forum classes following our 10:00 a.m. Sunday service (September through May) to weekly bible studies, seasonally themed series and special guest speakers, we offer a variety of opportunities to learn, engage and enjoy fellowship.
SUNDAY FORUM
Sunday morning adult programming is designed to enrich every attendee’s faith journey. We feature 40-minute lecture-style series and guest speakers on a variety of topics focusing on formation of active, integrated, & mature Christian Faith: Spirituality, Outreach, Theology, Bible.

Education for Ministry

The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people with the education to carry out that ministry. During the Service of Confirmation we ask God to “Renew in these your servants the covenant you made with them at Baptism. Send them forth in the power of the Spirit to perform the service you set before them.” EfM offers an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service.

Book Studies
Words & Wisdom Book Group
Meets periodically
Times and locations announced in Canterbury Tales
Study of a wide range of books, ranging from spiritual memoir and fiction, to science and culture. Enjoy wine and cheese and informal discussion. Newcomers always welcome.
Blessings Ministry
Parishioners make casseroles or soups that are kept frozen at church and one is taken to those in our parish who face illness, a new birth, a death in the family, or other special circumstances.
Martha Ministry

Martha Ministry provide meals for those within our parish who find themselves in a time of need.
Young Adult Ministry

St. Michael’s seeks to foster a sense of community among our young adults, whether single, newly married or just starting a family. Led by the Rev. David Nichols, we offer a variety of events and gatherings throughout the year, from fellowship at a local pub to parenting classes.

Intercessory Prayer Group
Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.

Our Intercessory Prayer team meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to offer confidential prayers for members of our parish and others as requested on their behalf by parishioners.
