St. Michael’s offers many opportunities for fellowship at any age or stage of life!
OWLS
The OWLS (Older, Wiser, Learning, Sharing) program offers monthly outings and a speaker series for parishioners 65 and older. Each spring, we host the OWLS Spring Fling, an afternoon social gathering for dining, entertainment and to announce the Senior of the Year.
ECW
Episcopal Church Women
The ECW is dedicated to serving God through fellowship and mission. As a member of St. Michael’s, every woman is automatically part of the ECW. There are four chapters, each representing a woman in a particular season in her life.
MEN’S MINISTRY
All men of St. Michael’s are invited to take part in our Men’s Ministry. Opportunities include gathering each month for fellowship, Bible study and support.
YEAS
Young Adult Ministry
The Young Episcopal Adults (YEA) Ministry at St. Michael’s seeks to foster connection and community among young adults at varying stages of life.
PARISH LIFE MINISTRY
The Parish Life Ministry sponsors various fellowships events at St. Michael’s. Past events include: The Parish Picnic, Oyster Roast and attending Durham Bulls Baseball games.
KNITTERS
A weekly gathering on Thursday mornings for those who like to knit (or would like to learn). Projects include prayer shawls and baby caps.

WORDS & WISDOM BOOK CLUB
The Words & Wisdom Book Club meets monthly at the home of one its members. Books are selected at the beginning of the year by consensus of the members and are generally spiritually based. Discussions are lively and hit on big theological questions as well as other topics. All are welcome!
