Education for Ministry

The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people with the education to carry out their ministry. EfM offers an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service.

Time Commitment: Meets September - May for a 2.5 hour class on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. with preparation time at home

Intercessory Prayer

Our Intercessory Prayer team meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. to offer confidential prayers for members of our parish and others as requested on their behalf by parishioners.

Friends of St. Michael’s

Volunteers provide, prepare food and serve at funeral receptions in our Parish Hall.

Friends is divided into teams which rotate throughout the year

Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King is a world-wide order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church. Members of DOK undertake a three-month study before taking a vow and pledging to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism.

The Anne Berry DOK Chapter at St. Michael’s meets the 1st Sunday of each month and serves the clergy as requested.

Martha Ministry

Parishioners make casseroles or soups that are kept frozen at church and one is taken to those in our parish who face illness, a new birth, a death in the family, or other special circumstances.

Time Commitment: 4-5 times a year
